Capstone’s legacy experience is rooted in the wireless industry. 13 years ago Capstone Wireless started out providing buy-back services for mobile devices for enterprise clients and our evolution within the industry grew from there. Before we knew it we were helping clients with deployment support for new devices through provisioning, application loading, configuration, custom kitting, inventory management and repairs. Likewise, our partnership with the carriers strengthened as we became a trusted and reliable partner for providing “hands-on” customer support.

Along the way we also fulfilled the certification requirements for e-Stewards and ISO 14004:2004. This resulted in Capstone being certified for electronics recycling and adopting processes for better environmental management internally. Implementing HIPAA compliant processes and procedures have also been a focus. Many of the clients we support are in the healthcare vertical and we’ve taken steps to ensure HIPAA compliance, particularly when it comes to protecting client information through media sanitization and record keeping for downstream asset reporting.

  • e-Procurement and e-Service Portal: customized web portal we develop and manage for clients for ordering new or replacement accessories at discounted prices, submitting repair tickets / returns and requesting advanced exchanges to mitigate employee downtime.
  • End of Life Recycling and Remarketing: HIPAA compliant media sanitization, downstream asset reporting, electronics recycling, device buy-backs and device remarketing for ROI.
